It is becoming quite obvious that Shelbi is VERY protective of Lucy! She's the first one to run to her when she cries, and she's more than reluctant to let anyone come near her besides Mommy and Daddy! Anytime Lucy is on the floor, Shelbi is right next to her . . . cuddling, playing, licking. And Lucy loves to kick her Shel-Shel. And Shelbi is more than happy to oblige. So much for worrying about jealousy issues!! They are BFF's!! :)

Shelbi thinks she's the Alpha (see her paw?) . . . little does she know what's in her not too distant future as Lucy gets bigger and bigger!
Although I'm sure some will be disgusted, I personally think it's HILARIOUS!!
